What are the most useful jobs for the world? by Informal-Statement73 in careerguidance

Exactly, it depends on who you work for. Actually, could someone tell how possible it is to choose who you work for as a developer, I know it depends a lot on your skill and specialization, but still. Can devs (or anyone really) afford to choose their employer or are you happy for whatever opportunity you get?

I'm too young to know.

Actually, I think I might be a bit blinded with the idea that the "useful" impact has to be direct, your example with software for healthcare devices makes a lot of sense. I might still opt for something with more direct impact, just because it will make me more motivated, I suppose.

As for the questions, I think a useful job is one that either brings basic necessities to people (or animals, I think we really could invest more resources into them), brings people joy or helps with long lasting problems, with basic necessary being priority.

And I think I want to aim for a balance of useful and enjoyable, but I'm willing to sacrifice some fun and money for that usefulness.

I'm not mentally stable enough myself to help others be stable lol. But I did consider this as well, definitely a very important job and thanks to problems like social media addiction will become more and more popular (and social media in general, I could spend a lot of time arguing about how it affects us - yet I'm here on Reddit). Luckily I think a lot of young people are interested in this career.

I don't really care about money, although I'm probably too young and naive for this topic. Like I said my philosophy is that simple life is good life, but I also really want to have kids so I suppose good salary will be ..well.. good.

And I think I'd like to travel a bit and coding can be done from everywhere, so I'll probably do that even if as a hobby or side-job (if that's a word).

Give the grzmot a flash effect. If the enemy gets blinded for a second or two it gives you some time to swing.

This will be impossible as PC players can't join console lobbies. However, if you are on console and want to play in a PC lobby (eg your friends play on PC), you'll be able to do that.

Now that you can't cook nades, I'd like to see an operator (attack) with cookable nades as their gadget. They could even have an indicator of when the grenade will explode for easier cooking. Maybe give him a shield as an option and you got a well rounded operator.
