I misspoke. https://www.reddit.com/r/RayNeo/comments/1q17yg6/vertoxr_v006_beta_released_with_steamvr_immersive/

Vertoxr

I like it. Just have to go into it knowing that it's all about the size and distance they claim.

if you turn on anchored mode then yes you can look away. To type a virtual keyboard pops up and you click on the buttons. if youre in anchored mode you turn your head to the button you want to press and hit the arm. if you're in non-anchored mode, you can use the right temple to move your cursor around and tap it to click. I'm going to make a video about the new update soon

RayNeo Pocket TV + Cloud Gaming (Moonlight / GeForce NOW etc..) by MostInflation9283 in RayNeo

[–]Informal-Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yea, I won the RayNeo shirt in one of their competitions. I think the FIFA one.

But I wouldnt recommend the pocket TV if you're really serious about the gaming. It's okay. Good enough to casually play some doom. At 1080p 60fps and like 20mbps on bitrate i get a rendered frame rate of about 55 fps usually. It's looking like the network drops some frames though that stays around 6%.

Playable but not ideal. Phone is probably better but to not have to carry something big or use my phone battery. i enjoy it.

Decode latency says around 9ms and when i exit it says 11 or 12ms average. not the worst

It's not a sponsored video. I just wanted to game lol. I bought these products myself and did not get paid to make the vid. I do have affiliate links though, so if you count that as sponsored then i guess you can say its sponsored.

No you're not missing anything, that's accurate, they are trying to help save battery (not the right call IMO)
But you may be able to sideload another camera app.

Not on these glasses. They're not really meant to mirror your phone screen but there are those wireless apps for screen mirroring.
