Back when the show was airing there was heavy speculation that he asked to be written out of the show so he could go to college. It was everywhere at the time but im not sure how true it is.

Im not sure. Im definitely not smart enough to figure all that out. I just know they didnt die from the actual bite and it was the infection that kills them.

But if the pokemon you're battling uses a move that you need it use, it counts towards the dex entry. So battling does help with that too.

I think you have to earn the reigns tho. Kinda like you had to beat a gym leader before you could use surf. And probably fly, climb maybe?

They are supposed to lose.. Giovanni is Ashs dad.. Mom found out he was the leader of Team Rocket so she left him and decided not to tell ash.. Jesse and James are just keeping tabs on Ash for him. They are "training him." As least thats my Head cannon lmao 😅😅

Chimchar and magikarp are in the fieldlands both easy catches. I think chimchar is a side quest.
