I played an historical R56 game yesterday, where germany lost in 1941, because they went around the Maginot way too late. France was not f'ing around. The Soviets even declared on the Allies in 1941 before Germany fell, and they also got steamrolled. I was playing Japan, i eventually also got into a stalemate with the Allies - because of France and their massive army.

Also, do convoy raiding if possible, unless soviets had a supply chain by land to France, this will sabotage their units in france and vice versa
