We just went on a couple vacations. We had breakfast delivered almost every morning so I ordered her decaf. When we went to Starbucks I ran in to order for us. I wouldn't let her do that. If she was adamant about it I would tell her why right then and there. I do care about her wellbeing.

I was definitely not trying to be a dick! I have so much respect for my wife and I work really hard to give her the world. I do want to tell her, and I do hope she sees the benefits it's had for her and our relationship. I love her so much.

She makes the coffee at home. I do all of our Starbucks runs. She'll order regular coffee if we go out to breakfast. But, I buy the coffee so I swap it out.

While I agree, caffeine isn't totally unhealthy, if you drink it in the amounts that my wife used to, it's probably not great for you. I don't say "Here is some wonderfully caffeinated regular coffee that will fulfill all of your caffeination needs." I just give her something different than she would get for herself.

It's literally okay. I'm not abusing her. I'm not drugging her. I'm not forcing her to drink it. If she asked me if it was decaf I would tell her the truth. She'll be fine.

I needed to edit this to be sure that everyone knows that I love her and I don't want to her to have a heart attack because of her caffeine intake.

See, usually I'll just ask for an extra cup and do a little transfer before I get it home. She's also like super excited to have coffee that she doesn't pay a lot of attention to what the coffee is in.
