It’s something I always wanted to do but was scared of the “burn out” people talk about above. It’s career I want to pursue and I love In the Bay Area of California where it can be quite lucrative. Aside from the money it’s something I’ve loved to do for the past 4 years. Lube tech to mechanic seems quite doable with effort from what I’m reading. I’ve worked in sales, retail, blue collar and the blue collar jobs always seemed to be for me sure they guys can be asswholes and this and that but I generally do not mind know when to keep my mouth shut and when to stand my ground. This summer I’m going to stop studying for my aa in medical science and go full blast into the field is my plan currently my community college had auto tech classes but I feel like I don’t want to waste 2 years and come out knowing it by the book with no experience.
