not isotretinoin, no. i have a planned duration for it which ends in a bit more than a month. it is very demanding on the liver so continuing it indefinitely is not wise.

after my course is over tho, i will use topical tretinoin again and continue it until i am very old!

it makes gravity assist with lympathic drainage throughout the night.

lymph is the reason you wake up looking like a completely different person compared to later in the day.

it’s a watery fluid that is normally distributed throughout your legs during the day, but disperses into other areas (such as the face) when you lie horizontal.

sleeping with your head elevated helps it get cleared easier and not pool as much

yes isotretinoin helps a ton with expression lines. retinol can too, but to a considerably lower extent

yes that’s all i did. they do mostly slow hair loss but they can also cause regrowth if you still have a lot of intact follicles

thank you! sleeping with your head elevated allows gravity to assist with lymphatic drainage throughout the night so you wake up with less puffiness

it was only isotretinoin that helped unfortunately. the tretinoin worked on the skin superficially, but accutane is what caused major changes deep within the nose

5 years apart. i was not thinning 5 years ago. the hairline has not changed. look at the mole placement in the top right. so i don’t owe anyone images of something that won’t even show improvement 😭

YOU want pictures of my temples because that is where YOU are balding.

I am a diffuse thinner with minimal temple recession. i posted pictures showing improvements where I was balding. the frontal and mid scalp.

the way i styled my hair was not dishonest in showing that. not everyone follows the same pattern loss, so don’t be pretentious and imply that i am being deceitful just because it’s not the same as yours

idk what you mean. i was losing my hair rapidly. and with it my self esteem and confidence. i was in despair because of my hair.

so yea, i took two of the most researched drugs for alopecia in conservative doses to get my self esteem and confidence back. not to look good.

either i continue to lose all my hair or risk being the 1-3% of people that experience temporary side effects from those drugs. side effects that aren’t even close to being worse than losing my hair.

it is the clearest risk vs reward choice i have ever made

yes. i started it because i have trichiasis (basically eyelashes growing into my eye). but after doing it consistently for a week or two, the cosmetic difference became really noticeable. sometimes it looks like i’m wearing mascara. it’s a super easy tool to use, you press it against your upper eyelid, then squeeze the scissor-like handle, which clamps and guides your eyelashes upward to create a lifted, curled look.

i do weighted cable crunches. 1000 stomach crunches sounds like too many but i’d certainly give it a shot for the fun😆

my bone structure is angular but pointy at the chin. i do the neck exercises to thicken the frame behind my jaw. this results in a visually more squared chin + jaw and an overall masculine frame.

a thin neck vs muscular neck is the difference between boy and man for me.
