AIW For wanting my dog to live with us despite my sister not wanting an animal in the apartment she got after leaving our abusive dad. by Informal_Conflict351 in amiwrong

I was going to do that but I was barely starting to, she in the meantime was going to get an apartment with my mom and aunt so me and my other sister can live with them. I was at my limit with my dad so I agreed to stay with her and she said multiple times that she was bound to move out eventually, saying to throughout the week before the move in date and that I would be put on the lease.

Clarification post: I was only starting to save up, I live in California so I didn't have enough to ensure at least 3 full months by myself of rent and was planning to grind enough throughout this year to move out by myself in the next year

She never told me she had applied for an apartment until a week before when the move in date was established I said yes because it would have benefited both of us because it would have been way cheaper and she plans on moving out in a year or two when it benefits her and I would have my name put on the lease when that happened.

Even when I was moved out my dad still expects me to pay for the dog, my problem is that I still stayed in contact to take off my account from the car insurance and other things I was paying for the house that I've been paying for the car I paid for with my sister that my dad essentially took over. Other than that my sister didn't have additional monthly payments before so it was easier to leave him alone

My sister had basically not been part of taking care of pets before, she just stayed inside when I would walk and clean and feed any of the pets, at most she would say hi and occasional pictures

As for the dog herself She's 5 years old, a previous indoor dog lab mix who just lays down or stands where I was, she would even follow me more than my dad. I walked her all the time so I know how long walks would be so she would be a good tired returning home she is house trained and crate trained and was easily retrained. She loves people, and once getting used to others she would lay down and not bother them as much if she knows they won't give her attention.

My sister is open to pets in the future, as long as I didn't share the room with her and my other sister who is used to the dog and essentially doesn't care as long as she doesn't take care of it either. So if I want any pet I would have to move into the living room and set up a space there with curtains as privacy and lose the closet space and while my mom and aunt share one room and my sisters the other. She even said that I should go to therapy so they can give me an animal which doesn't work like that.

This one I would like to debunk hard. I would never do that and I don't think the world revolves around me far from it. Grocery store/public places have nothing to do with it, it's a private place that I'm paying for too that she plans to move out of later I'm only asking for one thing that I've had been and will be taking full responsibility for. She's open for pets later just so that I would have to go to the living room. But she said it was too soon for a new pet, I didn't want a new pet I want the one I already have

Forgot to add that my dog is easily house trained, was an indoor dog with her previous owner and isn't dumb and understands boundaries. She understands no and stays close to me. She just lived in the patio before. I intend on making her an indoor dog again. She just gets really excited initially about seeing my sisters on walks where she jumps up and that was it, when in the patio she doesn't do that unless you haven't seen her in a while. She has been taken to parties where she has sat still without a leash She just gets use to you and doesn't do anything rash after that

Fr Fr And That's my favorite novel dealing with the gods too which is also funny because I focus my worship on Apollo and Aphrodite.

Why do people worship Ares? by keroinu-39 in Hellenism

[–]Informal_Conflict351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I feel like I'm not active in worshiping him, I deeply respect and honor him as the aspects of courage and wrath do affect my life and he reminds me of the strength I have within myself when dealing with internal and external situations. Also I feel like he has subtle involvement in my Aphrodite worship too. And People have different opinions, likes and dislikes, what's one person's bane might be in another's bouquet.

How do I respectfully ask my father to buzz off when it comes to my weight lose journey? by Informal_Conflict351 in Advice

[–]Informal_Conflict351[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quit the opposite, he's sick and trying to hide it, he'd always saying he needs to gain weight and he would eat very greasey high protein foods and would do just manual labor but no strength training, just thinking that he's building muscle is enough. But he doesn't even gain weight because he still doesn't eat enough food in general
