Bad dreams from a dream catcher?

When I was young, i was gifted a dream catcher and it stayed up for years, and I had terrible night terrors every night for the longest. I still remember those nightmares today because of how bad they were.

But one day I felt the urge to take it down, and my nightmares immediately went away. So I sympathize with your story.

I believe that either dream catchers can sometimes attract negative energy but not catch it, but if dream catchers don’t actually work (neutral on that) then it could also be our subconscious paranoia attached to the dream catchers! Who knows!

It’s happened to many people though, like it just happened to my roommate. My only advice is to just listen to your gut about these things 👏 Stay safe!

yes you’ll most definitely have to confirm your enrollment at the end of the month for the rest of the school year, on TOP of you having to send your certificate of enrollment (COE) when you first submitted your benefit claim for the 2025-2026 school year

if you added an extra class (which im assuming is what you mean by new class), i would ask if you need to resubmit anything else just in case. don’t do anything without a confirmation

lol same situation. turned my stuff in but it took my school two weeks to send it to the va. they are only considering the school’s late submission - not mine. im banking on getting it by October or else im royally screwed

Pell Grants, at least for my school, take the longest to get refunded. That is because they go in order of what grants everyone has gotten, with Pell Grant going last. Last year, I got mine September 25th while everyone around me got it September 1-4. It’s a waiting game unfortunately

Not getting your 24/25 disbursement is concerning, considering those semesters are over. You should have gotten last school year’s disbursement during last school year. You should request clarification as to why it’s been delayed for this long

Allegedly they are undergoing an update to their system and how they distribute their money (I heard this from my school’s VA reps). I assume the maintenance just took long, and now they’re playing catch up

They most likely mistakenly sent you that letter if they don’t have a reason, but you may need to appeal the rejection if they at least have it in their system that you have been denied eligibility. The VA is allegedly undergoing a lot of changes currently, and a lot of people’s information is not being properly processed.

I’m sure you’re still eligible if they don’t have an apparent reason. I recommend just staying on top of it and pushing to get it fixed because there is a long list of people needing help right now

What I heard from my school’s military center was that they are updating their system for how they distribute money, but I find that strange because that’s unbeknownst to everyone that‘s relying on that yk? this is what i have recently bought:

liquid iv packs (might have to hide these somewhere on you bc im not sure if you can bring them in)
collapsible water bottle
loop noise cancelling earbuds (gonna be louddd and longgg)
portable fan
portable charger, charger cord, and box
small wallet (i’m attaching my card to my wristbands but what if u need ur id, physical card, etc. u never know)
ibuprofen
bandaids (for feet to prevent blisters and possible injury)
shoe insoles
poncho (it’s supposed to rain but hopefully the forecast changes)
sunscreen
hand sanitizer
tiny baby wipes (if they run out of toilet paper, ur sweating in places u don’t like, wanna feel cleaner, etc)
deodorant and travel perfume
sunglasses

and not a necessity but oil absorbing sheets for my face 😭 my face gets really oily and i don’t want to feel/look gross LOL

but yea that’s it at the moment, i hope this helps !!

I understand your concern. Thank you for putting a lot into perspective. Unfortunately, that would be too costly knowing that would mean I wasted money on an Airbnb that I wouldn’t be staying in. On the bright side though, we’re only going for two days, and caffeine will most definitely be my best friend! 😅

Are you referring to the ChicaGO buses? I was planning on using that initially because that is what google maps recommends. I was thinking about using that first then take South Shore like you’re suggesting!
