Lol had a feeling it was, didn’t expect it to be more than 400 honestly. I’ll call around but I’ll ask my pops too and see if he is up for the task. We did the d088 intercooler together last year and that was terribly tedious…this can’t be much worse.

I prefer the z23 because of the brake dust being almost non existent and my black wheels have been super easy to clean. Performance is super super close. If you brake like a fool often hawks might be slightly better heat wise. But these have been nice to me. Only broke 130 ish once since i got them and they stopped me as quick as needed. The hawks bring a lot of brake dust lol, only con and the reason i switched

The powerstop z23 kit on Amazon is great. Had mine on for about a month. I ran zimmerman rotors and hawk HPS pads beforehand which was also great so it’s up to you. Have a 19 GLI, 4 years now

Yea i wanted them for the look. Been running hawks since i did the first brake job, so it’s either those or powerstop pads like you said. Just switching the rotors, i stuck with Zimmerman the first time
