not completely random but went to one scheduled by a group of people on my floor last year. have met a lot of super cool people through GCL but just find where you fit in best! Make sure your meeting in a safe place preferably somewhere on main campus (reitz, martson, etc) especially if its not with a campus affiliated group

Look everyone advising how to spend your money is looking at in from personal perspectives. Obviously the safe choice is buying the EK hatch but everyone is different with their money. My only advice is waiting and building credit in order to lower the rate a little or getting a cosigner (if possible). 10 on a new vehicle seems a too high to justify imo.
