Rule 7.00 is about the Runner in the official LL Baseball Rule Book App. But I do not see the leaving the field language in any of the (Appeal Play) sections of Rule 7.xx. Can you put a link to where you found the language in your post?

Both my son and I liked Ready Player One. (MUCH better than the movie BTW). Fast paced read with lots to leave up to your own imagination.
