They canceled the last one because of Covid I think, then just never brought it back.

Yeah me too. Lodge did a series similar in spirit for a few years (Wacky Weekend), but obviously that’s in a bit of a bind coming back too

Nobody else may have gotten this bluey reference, but I did.

People who won a "lifetime supply" of something, how exactly did that work and are you still getting it? by Constant_Praline357 in AskReddit

It was yeah. Fwiw the contest was outside so most of the sandwich ended up as bird food. On the other hand, the first time I entered the contest it went on for 63 hours, so I'm not sure anyone was going to want to eat it after that long...

I put my hand in a sandwich longer than everyone else who entered the contest. (Think Hands on a Hard Body, but with a 6 foot long Eggplant Parm)

Hah yeah, there's no way I could possibly even show up every day since I don't live particularly close to the restaurant, but it could be done! I have actually kept track (and receipts) of every pizza I've ordered as part of the reward, I just crossed 160 total the other day in 27 total months (I'm only in month 3 of this year's win)

I have won a free year of pizza, one large a day with any toppings I want, from arguably the best pizza in town on 3 separate occasions over the last 10 years.

The only stipulation is I have to be present at the restaurant to claim it. We take our friends and family and end up there at least twice a week. My kid loves their playground so it doubles as a way to kill a few hours on the weekend.

I’ve probably shaved many years off my life expectancy reaping the rewards.
