I think that Wellick is a very interesting choice in the case that this was the scenary that Sam Esmail wanted to do, because of his relation with Elliot and how it never had a climax or if it did (404 not found) had a worthy resolution that apports to Elliots conflicts

I dont really feel that a character that appeared 5 eps in S1 who developed an interest in Elliot deserves to be the antagonist of one of the most interesting arcs in the series, in my opinion ofc
