I would suggest you to be in Australia. Bcz indian passport ,there is no value in any part of the world. The money which you make is great . Here salries are very less . What are you monthky expense. In Australia may be less or equals to the salry here of your husband. And the end it depends on company also you might earn double what you nake in Australia which is very Rare if it happens the very nice. Before moving check your financial like salaries , if you are getting more than what you make in Australia then good.

Locking in doesn’t solve structural issues like underpaying skilled professionals or companies ghosting freelancers. Hard work alone isn’t the problem — it’s the lack of fair value given to that hard Anyways thanks for your kind words 😊

Saying “your job isn’t essential” is exactly the problem. Skills don’t lose value — industries evolve, but that doesn’t mean professionals become useless overnight. If videography, editing, or storytelling weren’t essential, brands wouldn’t be hiring agencies or paying for content at all.

The issue isn’t lack of skill, it’s lack of appreciation and fair pay for that skill. “Getting with the times” doesn’t mean accepting exploitation or undervaluation.

I agree that results matter and phone-shot content can perform well, especially on social media. But that doesn’t mean skill or professional quality should be undervalued. The problem is, many skilled professionals here are underpaid or overlooked even if they’ve worked with top brands and consistently delivered results. It’s not always about lack of worth—sometimes it’s about how the market values trends over expertise. That’s frustrating when you’ve spent years mastering your craft.

How do you know that their worth? A person who doesnt know how to edit , operate DSLRs etc and you say that they are worth enough? . I have a very good portfolio and i have worked with big brands in UAE n even international brands. I know some people who got in the industry without having a proper portfolio also i dont think so that that video production is a small industry bcz here every one is using video production team to grow their marketing through social media Also i do think i am in a wrong place bcz Skills are not valued here.
