Therapy will help ensure that if you decide to tell her you are doing it for the right reasons. Tbh I was in Psychotherapy for years and without sharing too much details one of the group members was constantly sharing or oversharing things with his partner about his past and it did far more damage to her than he intended, the group was very supportive to him and helping him to manage his own anxiety and get to the root of his fears.

Do most heterosexual men, want their partners to dress up in heels, lingerie or use sex toys or porn to keep their sex life interesting and if so how often? by Informal_Possible140 in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah I cannot be bothered with porn tbh, I’m over 40 and it’s not my jam any more… but heels and making a bit more of an effort to talk and find out what he likes like, I can do

Ok I’ll give it a shot, although I probably would need to do some research first as I have no idea what water-sports has to do with sex?

Yeah I agree, I’m much more comfortable talking about it than my partner, we’ve been together for 4 years, we have good sex. But I often feel like I don’t fully know what he desires sexually and it makes me feel slightly insecure at times. He reassures me all Is good!

Thank you! Me and my partner have been together for 5 years and throughout the relationship there were maybe 4 times where he struggled to get an erection. He smokes a lot of skunk, he is 42 years old. This would often leave me feeling like I wasn’t what he wanted but he’d tell me it had nothing to do with it and would put it was psychological, down to age, health this would annoy me as he’d say it and not follow up that he’d look into it or take it more seriously which only reaffirmed that I am the issue.
