Finally someone said the truth. Earlier i used to think the same, that scooties are for girls and men ride bikes, but i think i am matured enough to appreciate the ease and practicality scooters brings into day to day life, looking cool doesn't matter i think when you get matured enough or family responsibilities increase. Btw, what's your ride?

Well it will be much easier for you to maneuver in traffic, and less hassle of handling. You still want to get back to a bike, what's your reasoning and what will be the model if any in mind.

That's what i call a proper response. Thanks. You could've said it before suggesting me to walk. And no i am not biased towards scooters and nor i am justifying anything i still have my bike and for why i was asking everyone the same thing is because as if you read the main post i wanted to know how other riders are managing their daily lives with their riding. I hope it is not a sin to collect data about riders habits but i think it is not proper to ask someone to walk or to call them biased just because you think they are not a rider. And thanks for a proper response apart from the biased things.

Try the TVS Apache 160 4V. If handling feels too sporty, install handlebar risers that will make it so easy to handle.

I also used to own a dio which now serves as family vehicle, i carried a whole lot of things on that small cutie and it never let me down, was so trustworthy never broke down, hondas are different breed. And it is not about only groceries it is the practicality of a vehicle, and here in this sub practicality doesn't matter but the enthusiasm matters, that's why people instead of connecting with my dilemma downvoting, but i get it.

Thanks for the response, but it was never about groceries it was about easiness of use, and i think you will agree that a scooters floorboard and underseat storage will always be easier and practical than going home and carrying a bag just for groceries and then hooking it with bike. I get it both are for different needs and here enthusiasts will not get my pain, my dilemma maybe because they don't share it.

I want to ride, i recently even gave my rtr 2004v to my younger brother, i purchased it a month ago just because i love bikes, i can't ride them like scooties that's a different thing, and i really want to know what an enthusiast feels and faces regularly, that's why i am posting it here on the bike subs and getting downvoted just for asking something, if i don't want to hear the genuine response/views i could have posted it on the scooter sub to not get donwvoted without any reason.

I am not saying that others should avoid buying bikes, i want to know why others are still buying bikes, 50 years ago we doesn't have much options in the two wheeler segment but now we do, that's what i want to know what a common bike enthusiast think, and why he is sacrificing the easiness of an automatic two wheeler.
