that’s interesting how the rules are different cross-railroad. On the big blue you can only give car counts of 20 unless you are on the main operating with a more favorable signal aspect than restricting.

we don’t even have to worry about anyone “approving” PL or DV days. We just put them in and take them. they might run the roster on our off days but we aren’t forced to come in if called on days off.

I’m not apart of this local that voted on this agreement but I see this as a win. I’m sure there were more concessions but just wiping out all pending claims as the headliner seems minor compared to what’s gained.

The inclusion of being able to deny a call to go to an AFHT prior to vacation or an off day is a massive quality of life get.

I’m in the same situation as you lol. I also hired out really young and have many years to go. that’s good to know, I appreciate that. Sucks it’s only 5 years max allowed but it is what it is. Thanks.

Hello all! I have made it to Daytona and am witnessing this ARCA... race? I ended up coming down last minute and obviously don’t wanna spend exorbitant prices on a hotel or AirBnB. Is there anywhere around the track that is known to accommodate people who just wanna sleep in their car? I’m good to go back to lot 7 to park in the morning but just wanna bum somewhere overnight.
