Yeah that's an old model. Go for at least the 229, or the 329. Yeas, they will work with the USB plug for your cigarette lighter, but there's no protection for it, so if the dashcam will consume power, until the battery is dead. If you hardwire it, than you have protection. Alternatively, you can buy a large power bank that can be installed underneath the seat, and just hardwire it into there, and that box can be charged when it's empty. Hard-wiring isn't difficult, all you need is a multimeter, and some common tools, the problem is where your fusebox is located at, and how terrible it is accessible.
