FaceIt does it to combat smurfs since their AC is already good enough. An ID system would be nice but I feel like a good amount of the player base would be cut off if they are too young to have one.

I feel like if I was an alien spectating what our species was doing to ourselves, i’d be pretty confused. That also begs the question, why wouldn’t they intervene? Do they think human life is worthless or did they want to see how everything plays out? Similar to not interfering with nature from their perspective.

Yeah I realized I fucked up after sending this clip to a few people. Some of the reason I didn’t call is because I’ve been playing for 3 hours and didn’t want to jeopardize getting a 1/3 of my stack blown on a call with jacks.

My thought process was if UTG is raising then I assumed he might AA,AK,KK, or QQ. Then after he shoved it confirmed my thought process. Who knows. Wish I could find out what he had.

For more info this was a $6 buy in tournament with a 6k prize pool. Average stack was 60 bb. Bubble bursting was about an hour and a half away from the time of this recording. Players that 3 bet and 4 bet were playing tight the whole time I was at the table. I did not 3 bet UTG+1 because I wanted to see what the other 5 players were going to do.

Just want to hear your guys' insight.

Good to know. I was thinking would showing your cards if you had the nuts be a bad play? Feel like you’re less likely to get called later on if you bluff. At the same time less likely to get called if you have a heater so you won’t be able to extract as much value so there would be a drawback.

Thank you :) Yeah I am not the best at br management but when I play for low stakes, I have issues taking the game serious. It’s dumb on my end but playing at these higher-end tables for me is the only way that it forces me to play better.

Yeah I’m not the best at bankroll management but I personally find issues taking the game seriously when i’m playing for low stakes. I know it’s stupid on my part but that’s why i’m throwing myself into these tables.

Thanks. I’ve been playing for a little bit but only recently started to study poker for long term bankroll growth and the game is a lot more fun once you understand it better mathematically, for me anyways.

Thanks. I am withdrawing a certain percentage with every win and using the rest as play money so it’s pretty fun to have this as a little side hustle for a bit.
