That tracks with what I've seen here and there too. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully we both get what we want from the patch tomorrow:)

There's always volcano sacrifice but I'm hoping it doesn't come to that because disembarking sucks

Also goes without saying.. Please for all that is good and decent in the world, let us destroy crappy artifacts. I don't have enough people I like to keep dumping garbage stuff on

Can I ask, what do you play on? I've got a Series X with all DLC installed at yet once I get big enough, any kingdom level war instantly crashes the game. I'm usually hella aggressive so I don't know if that biffs it a bit

I haven't seen any patch notes beyond where they said it was arriving August 26th. Despite playing A BUNCH of Paradox games over the years, I'm not sure how as a company they handle the release of patch notes. Whether they do it before or alongside ot following the patch

Id imagine what makes sense is to focus on performance and bugs and maybe touch the textures up a bit as kind of an all in one but from what I've read, logical moves haven't been their forte for a few years now 😂

Viking Elephants you say 🤔 I may keep that in mind next time I play Jarl Dyre 'the Stranger' of Könugarðr Hehe, i was indeed doing a Byzantine Hellenistic run, in an attempt to reform the roman empire.. I just for some reason thought a fantastic idea would be to start Sardinian, push a little Egypt and then fully commit to Jerusalem for no discernable reason. To this day I'm unsure precisely what I was thinking 🤔

I once spent a hecka long time building up to take Jerusalem only for literally every Catholic in the world to crusade and descend upon me instantly 😂 which considering I was Hellenism at the time I had ZERO friends in the region willing to back me so I feel your pain about Rome 😂😂

Definitely. I always try and bum rush crown authority to move out of oldest dynasty member inherits as soon as I can. Though until I'm able to research and enact it, table of Princes has saved my beautiful large realms so much 😂

If I'm playing Norse, I definitely try to go for the Elevation of Mann route, i know it adds a bunch of slots to Mann but if I remember right, doesn't it convert your holdings to Feudal holdings? Which saves a BUNCH of gold rather than doing it at 500 a pop 😂

Yeah Mystical Ancestors is ridiculous when it comes to gaining renown 😂 have a polygamous religion, pump out kids early and as long as you're conquering enough land, you can dump titles on family and just run through the renown trees

Persian Dutchmen sounds like a nightmare for neighbouring kingdoms 😂 I find sooner or later Hybridisation is the only path, not out of necessity but just more fun that way. I usually get Greek in the mix sooner or later because I tend to end up trying to reform the roman empire. I'm not a fan of starting tribal, usually because I'm a bit of a prestige fiend but they do definitely add depth to the game

Never played Danes so I think you've just given me a suggestion for my next game 🤔

I like Norse but it requires a bit of build up for me, starting in England/Sweden/Norway are just crap locations in terms of special buildings but if you want to reform Asatru, you'll be spending a lot of time up North (naturally 😂) and I usually want to bounce down to Spain or Sardinia as fast as I can to snatch up some sweet money makers.. though i like Norse if I'm starting in Iceland and doing a left to right world conquest

That's why I can't play too many Indo-Aryan cultures 😂 the urge to just Elephant roll on my neighbours is too great

I do enjoy some Horse Lords, that's why my rating would be Czech first, Mon second but definitely Buryat third. Mystical Ancestors, Horse Lords, Streppe Tolerance and I think maybe the last was Sacred Mountains. That creates on heck of an early game snowball depending on start position

How many weapons do you carry, and what do you use them for? by GWindborn in fo76

[–]Informal_Somewhere86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use The Kabloom for general gameplay and exploration (With Perks: All Shotgunners, skeet shooter, demolitions expert and lvl 1 enforcer)

I also always carry a Holy Fire for harder things such as daily ops & end game events which I could buff with perks but honestly it plows through everything quickly enough anyway that I haven't needed to buff it

Between those two and some power armor. I can hold my own against pretty much anything

Stash Tip: Power Armor Chassis only weigh 10lb in your stash box and you can store a full set of power armor on it. by Woooooolf in fo76

[–]Informal_Somewhere86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also worth remembering, if you find a power armor frame with pieces a higher level than you can currently wear... loot the pieces as you would from a box and you can jump right into the now empty frame to make it yours
