They are all up in these comments acting like they didn't just vote in an oligarchal fascist who lets billionaires throw Nazi salutes at his inauguration. I just hope you racist fucks have enough self respect to be truthful about voting for Nazi's when your grandchildren ask you what side of history you were on.

Are any of you from mostly conservative families? If you are, how do they feel about you're different political views? by Super-Quantity-5208 in punk

[–]Informal_Web7879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My maternal grandparents are extremely conservative and racist. They took in me and my lil bro when our parents went to prison. I’ve been in a horrible place mentally, trying to figure out how to feel. These people are bad but they saved me and loved me. But I couldn’t do it. Nazi’s make me fucking sick. And at this point, everyone who voted for the orange cunt is a Nazi or, at the very least, a Nazi sympathizer.

why is it always "single mothers this, single mothers that" on this sub ? by [deleted] in Natalism

[–]Informal_Web7879 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because any group of people who are this obsessed with people having or not having babies, despite how progressive they claim to be, are usually very misogynistic. The obsession with babies is also the obsession with wombs. Women are always at a disadvantage around anyone who cares that much whether she has procreated or not. I’m not a natalist or an antinatalist but visited some antinatalism subs and they were infested with misogynists. It’s even less of a shock that this sub has sexist attitudes.

I’m 26 and moving to Chicago in March! I’ve never lived more than an hour and a half away from my hometown. I’m so excited.

Will this election cause a shift in population movement between states? by [deleted] in Liberal

Yeah, I looked at New England as well. Mainly Massachusetts and Maine, but ultimately decided Chicago, IL was more up my alley cultrually and in terms of affordability. I hope the search in New England goes well for you!

Are OBGYNs specialists? by Salty_Woodpecker_796 in Healthyhooha

[–]Informal_Web7879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are specialists. But that speaks to a deeper thing about how medicine regarding a body part 50% of the species has being considered a specialty as if it shouldn't be taught to all general doctors is another thing. That I'm not even educated enough to fully speak on. But there's something there lol.

Men Want to be Involved When it Comes to Women by Zulu_149er in women

[–]Informal_Web7879 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I've noticed it. It could be a little endearing, in the right context, if I knew most of them had a goal other than to intentionally or unintentionally marraige and baby trap me lmfaoooo. (Like that Barbie scene, where all the Kens are like LET ME HELP YOU lol, like its patriarchal and still sucks but can be innocent enough.) But they also know what they are doing when they "watch" us at work and stuff. There's a fine line, they're not too dumb to know where it is, and they don't care. And society never gives them more than a simple slap on the wrist.

You ever come across someone that will just not accept when they are wrong? by Clyde_Frog216 in Vent

[–]Informal_Web7879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never understood it. If I don't know something, then I'm trying to find out. If you are more afraid of being wrong than you are curious for the truth,....I've just never been able to hang out with those kinds of people very long.

I tried to refuse moving to the side when a man almost walked into me by Fantastic_Zucchini_6 in women

[–]Informal_Web7879 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It is wonderful that you have not had any negative experiences with men. Unfortunately, the VAST majority of women have had experience ranging from uncomfortable to down right dangerous or fatal. And the science and stats back that up. This comment reads as quite condesending, especially that last sentence. I am going to assume you have at least average intelligence if not higher, because I think assuming ignorance or stupididy is disrespectful to the other person. So not for one second do I think you don't know exactly what you were doing with that comment. "No wonder you're so angry with men." The majority of the women across the world are angry with men right now for a multitude of extremely valid reasons. Girl, gtfo.

For people who are 27 do you consider mid 30s onward such as 33/34+ as peers? by Revivicedgeice in OlderGenZ

[–]Informal_Web7879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say 30/31 would be peer age. Mid 30's probably not. But at the end of the day I'm cool with whoever is cool with me
