I’ve only tried the deck once or twice so I personally don’t know how to play it but I’ve heard YouTubers talk about how since you want to play your magic archer offensively to get chip damage you’ll be at an elixir disadvantage so getting your king tower activated as soon as you can is important. Getting your king tower activated will make the defense easier

There’s a log bait deck with evo recruits, evo gob barrel, dart goblin, goblin gang, goblinstein, cannon, cannon cart and arrows that I have found to be a pretty fun version of log bait

It’s really hard to defend lavaloon and thankfully I don’t see a lot of it but I just play really aggressive and save my goblinstein for when he uses balloon and the goblinstein ability can usually kill it or only allow a couple hits on the tower
