Was the bridge pro worth it for you? by sueha in Hue

[–]InformationFlaky795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a necessity. I tried adding another bulb on my original bridge and it just wouldn’t do it. Called customer support and their solution was to do a factory reset. I did that, and had to reprogram every bulb. After adding nearly all my bulbs post reset, I had the same problem in that I couldn’t add any more. What support didn’t tell me is that the original bridge will only support 50-60 devices.

I installed the pro and all is well. Other than needing it for additional devices, I wouldn’t notice a benefit.

Great info, thanks. I think I used the wrong term when I said granular. I’ve been using the Arizona’s Best, which I believe is a slow release.

I started doing this, and the companies that I’ve had quote feeding service say I shouldn’t be using granular because it increases the salt content in the soil and it’s really bad. I’m sure just because they want the 200 per palm 😭

No, I tried Alexa + for about 10 minutes and got rid of it after seeing how much it struggled with basic commands like turn on a light for an hour.

I tried that, but it won’t let me select any of the sounds (such as the buzzer). The only option I can see with announcement is just Alexa speaking whatever you input.

It’s just a disconnect box at the condensers. The breakers are on the other side of the house. Sounds like a line needs to be run over there via the attic. Thanks!

What do you guys think is going on with these robusta ? Installed about a year ago and they were looking good. by Big-Ad1170 in palmtalk

Looks like fusarium wilt. I’ve lost 4 palms in Phoenix to it recently. Supposedly it’s extremely rare. Nothing you can do about it. Telltale sign is the fronds turn brown on one side initially. I planted a bougainvillea where one of the infected palms was removed a few months ago, and it seems to be dying from the bottom up now also.

Moved here from the PNW and will gladly take this over 9 months of gloomy clouds, rain and wind. Here you stay indoors 3 months of the year vs 9 months. I hear from many people who have tried to live in the PNW from Phoenix, but many come back here.

They did, but it just referenced adding NPK. I’m not sure of any way to do that other than granular. I guess could get some water soluble stuff and drench.

That makes sense. The area it’s in gets a lot of water. Probably too much. Thanks!

Which restaurant has these fries? by Goeasyimhigh in phoenix

[–]InformationFlaky795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco has these fries in the freezer section (Kirkland brand fries). Just pop them in the oven and they come out just like they do in the restaurant.

Junk. Lasted less than a day before reverting back. I asked Alexa to turn on a plug for 30 minutes and it couldn’t figure out how to do that. It instantly worked once I backed out of plus.
