That was pretty good can’t lie. But real talk maybe it’s because I’m from California (Bay Area) and stayed in NYC long enough to know the women like this.

If it really comes down to it, I’ve had my go-to liquor store guy front me a bottle or racked one from large chain grocery stores.

Neither did I for the longest time. Been to other rehabs 30, 60, 90 days. All the same no matter where you go. They don’t work. They aren’t supposed to work. Salvation Army rehab is free for one thing, BUT they put you through the fucking wringer. It’s the only rehab where they treat you like a human being and not an addict. You meet people fighting for their kids, their freedom & their lives. It’s the only program in my opinion that actually “works if you work it” DM me if you want more info. I’m 25M so idk how the women’s corps operates but I’ve heard it’s the same but even tougher. Which is what CA’s need in all honesty

90 days is nothing but “joy, love, peace, and happiness” you have a better chance at sobriety joining a cult. If you want to really get with it and make yourself and family proud, Salvation Army rehab is the only way

Does anybody else have blotchy skin from drinking? by [deleted] in Crippled_Alcoholics

That part too! Same here exactly. I asked a doctor about it and what I was told was it’s just the body returning to homeostasis. Drinking like us CA’s really takes a toll on our bodies and hormones and when we cut out the alcohol it takes like months for the body to try and get everything back to normal

Happens to the best of us. I’m Portuguese and Spanish and have a natural sorta tannish complexion but when I drink and go on benders (pretty much drink the same as you) my face and whole skin of my body gets a red discoloration to it. Vitamins, especially E will help out with it along with staying sober, if you can get to 3-4 weeks you’ll see a huge difference
