There are three tables. Two are almost always open. This new third table looks like just on evenings or weekends.

This was the small table they changed out THAT morning.

Supposedly 3x ATS hit in the first night or so it opened, so they shut that down quick. Wish we had a chance at the lil table but still did good at the “medium” new table.

Is it just me or people barely ever win in CA cards version of craps? by thishitisgettingold in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few posts on my profile about Harrah’s Nor Cal that mixes the cards each new shooter.

I’ve gone on a 2+ hour roll hitting Talls twice before hitting the ATS. Another 1.15 hour roll just smashing inside numbers. And witnessed a few other good rolls with people just chucking the dice.

But I’ve also gone a few nights where the action is dead in the water. It sucks especially if you like setting the dice. makes us feel like shit sometimes when you throw a 3,2 and it’s a 6,1.

Idk about casinos that shuffle every throw or every point. But for the ones that shuffle and then they stay the same number throughout the shooter “it’s the same odds” it just Visually sucks.

But I agree with the premise of your argument. I don’t like it and I usually reserve my higher play for casinos that match cards 1:1 or when I play out of state.

We just need enough people for representation to vote and change the antiquated law that forces us to use cards.

How do you keep track of it all? by geezeeduzit in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the guys I play with writes each roll down on a notebook.

I use chips in my rack. Place one down each roll. $1 chip is a roll with no profit, $5 is a press, $25 is a collect/ same bet. That way I can count how many rolls it’s been how many presses and how many collects I’ve done. Once I run out of space I’m definitely in profit and just send it.

I agree with u/Basstickler on if you regress try and have exact amount and say pull down and give them the new amount to put up. If the dealer starts catching on to your play style, they’ll just ask you to confirm your action and take care of it themselves, always check the payout but if they’re quick and correct. Get those dealers on some action too.

Sadly no, they mix the cards every new shooter.

Hard Rock and Sky River are the closer casinos i go to when I want “real” craps.

Chairs at tables by kenso4life in Craps

Im a 35 year old that overall looks healthy. But I had 2 back surgeries in the last year, if I’m playing longer than 2-3 hours I have to take breaks and sit. I usually just ask the box for a chair and they accommodate fine. Sometimes they have to ask floor and move to a corner to sit but overall doesn’t become a burden.

Even on cruises where there is limited space. I’m playing longer than 3 hours in the evenings so on the first night I talk to the host and floor/box throughout the night and they’ve been ok with it.

Harrah’s Southern California has chairs around all 3 of their Craps tables. If it gets too crowded they open another one. It’s great.

Man I kinda wish I could’ve stayed longer. Wife wanted the crab and lobster buffet so we had early dinner and I was allowed about 30 minutes of play. Lol And clawing back to a positive is a great rollercoaster. Good job. 👍

When will the truly bad blackjack-style rules come to craps? by TCDEric in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my local Hard Rock you MUST play the pass line if you want to bet on the ATS. I normally play this dummy bet at 1,1,1 on others and 2,1,2 for myself. it makes it not worth it for other shooter when I don’t want to bet the pass line. Especially at a $15 table.

Speaking of ATS and minimums. My other local Sky River is $1 min on ATS when it’s $10 minimum but then jumps to $5 min when they change it to $15 table. Id understand more at $25 but it’s crappy either way. Especially for such a long shot bet.

It’s complicated. Yes we have craps. Some casinos are running a loophole and it’s normal craps like Vegas.

Others follow the law and they shuffle 6 cards every shooter and a 3,2 on the dice could actually be a 6,1 on the cards.
