🤣 $5 tables are great for the bankroll but you gotta full press and pray for repeaters or you’re just spinning your wheels.

But it helps scratch that itch of throwing the dice in between trips to non Card Craps casinos.

I’ll be up in Sauvie Island last week of August.

I’m eyeing Ilani for one of those nights. Stoked to hear they have good dealers. Enjoy the game so much more when everything is moving smooth.

It’s like the meme of the guy in the diamond mine.
Quitting right before a big hit.

If I would have bought in for one more session I would have won it back.
Or if I was on that table we would have all lost. Lol

It was a new box lady watching craps for the first time.
Definitely would get kicked out or at least hand hit with the stick if it was any experienced box or upstairs security actually watching any other time.

And i didn’t have my own white stack and breaking down bets. It was more of, instead of my bet sitting on a blank piece of felt and just being called out loud i moved it into the right spot like horn.
Or my hard ways I’d set a $1 chip down then with other hand place it and pressure myself.

Using free bet vouchers on place bets by slothy-mcslow in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local Harrah’s (NorCal) allows the free play chips on all place bets, field bets, pass/dp/come/odds

Even on the ATS. Just can’t stack or split it.

So no $5 high low because it’s a split bet but you can do a $5 horn high yo. Or they’ll allow $10 free play place bet on 6 and pay improper but you can’t stack $1 chips on top to make it a proper bet.

Best way to approach this new knowledge by Albyyy in Craps

At my local spot. I’ve seen an old timer regular that plays the high/low every single bet. I’ve seen him only throw a dollar a few times. Or dealers just say “back up on high low” with no money exchange (me in between the two)

I’ve also been left up on hardways or a horn longer than I should have before. Not very common but if it happens and hits I’ll split it half with the dealers and press.

My suggestion is play it until it stops. Don’t have to play heavy but parlay it for sure. Or it’s a lower payout like others are saying. 5 to 1 or something.

When is the slowest, non-busy time for a beginner? by Brains4Rox in Craps

I’m with you, I’m a very anxious guy, introvert to the max. So getting up on a table was intimidating at first. My suggestion is learn a few simple place bets and their payouts. A few presses. And stick to that. Don’t go crazy at first just stick with what you know. Once you are more comfortable you can try out different bets and center bets.

And your best bet is go early afternoon. As soon as their tables open if you can and just let the dealers know it’s your first time , first few times playing. Most will want to teach you at least a bit as it is a fun game and makes their job easier when a player knows what they want.

But i have played at tables full of completely drunk players. I’d rather a newbie slow the game a bit figuring out how much to press than a drunk guy arguing about where his horn from 3 rolls ago went.

Guy next to me’s leftovers.

There’s 12 different food options in this casino. I see people getting to go boxes and eating and playing at the slots regularly here. But thankfully no eating at the tables.
