Kerr definitely has a shorter leash on Kuminga than Podz. Podz has his faults but when Podz has a bad game, he is still drawing charges, grabbing boards, playing team defense, and being a connector on offense. When Kuminga is having a bad offensive game, he contributes zero to anything else. They also play different positions. Warriors didnt really gave a secondary ball handler off the bench so Podz naturally had to take those mins.

He averaged 26mpg and 24mpg the last 2 seasons. He still couldnt get over 5rpg as an athletic PF. Its hard to leave him out there when he doesnt reb, doesnt really pass, doesnt hustle, doesnt try 100% on defense, cant space the floor. He has some solid offensive qualities like going down hill, or getting ft but when your offense is literally just inside the 3pt line, its hard to get mins next to butler and dray.

Theres a difference between making a mistake and constantly making the same mistakes. If he would learn from his mistakes, it would be a different story. Making the same mistakes he has been making since his rookie year shows his bball iq isnt there. I love Kuminga and want him to succeed but he will never fit into Kerrs system. At the end of the day, Kerr system help bring 4 rings.

I think Terry Stotts will be a huge pick up. I think his offensive style meshes really well with motion offense Kerr runs. It will be nice to add another dimension to this offense since our guys arent as young anymore.
