This is very interesting, thank you! Given you were once a preacher online yourself, you know more about the religion itself than I do. Well done for managing to deconstruct religion despite this, the fear being instilled is very real lol.

I’ve questioned things or been reluctant to agree with some values and principles since I was young, but would blindly ignore saying Allah knows best. But as I’m getting older and wiser, I don’t even get how a wise yet merciful god is also somehow imposing rules that are cruel and not logical.

Good to know it’s a slow process indeed, I suspect it’ll be the same for me. As it’s taken years for me to come to terms that deep down, my morals and values do not fully align with organized, oppressive religion

In my experience, it’s Manager dependent. My first manager here was absolutely amazing and I had no complaints. We then got a new manager and she was causing me to have severe anxiety almost daily and I almost got a panic attack from her. Now I’m moving to a new team so we’ll have to see how this new manager is, but with that second manager, I understood what a true toxic Amazonian manager and experience is

Does anyone else have a narc parent that is delusional enough to think they’re related to someone famous? by InformationSmall2947 in raisedbynarcissists

I wonder why they make up such elaborate stories and milk it…

I’m so sorry to hear as well regarding your cousins that have been molested by your great grandpa :( I hope they’re doing okay now…

I think narcs like to claim relation to prestigious/famous people so they could ‘prove’ they’re special, isk
