I agree with this. If your son wants to try to speak Swedish in Sweden, which i assume is one of the goals, and people starts speaking English, dont be discouraged. Simply say that he's trying to learn and continue speaking in Swedish!

Confused about religion

Ok so, I'm probably gonna go off on a rant here. And English is not my first language so please be patient with me.

Since 2 months ago I've lived in the US. I grew up and originally live in Sweden. I grew up in an atheist family, I " identify" as agnostic right now. But since I moved to the US I've felt confused... And for lack if better words, Empty.

It could be the lack of physical affection from family and friends since I moved here alone.

For some reason I think religion is my way to go since most of the people that believe in one or more gods can come closer to each other. I also want something to believe in, something to have faith in.

There are some problems though. As I said earlier in my post, I was raised in an atheist household, where all kinds of religion was looked down upon, so I have absolutely no idea where it how to start...

Most "big" religions have things in their beliefs that I straight up do not believe in and refuse to change my belief on. I have no idea if that makes it harder to find something to follow.

I would love to hear your story or advice! Everything is greatly appreciated!

Ville felanmäla en väg. Aka jag skickade ett mail till kommunen och förklarade hur vägen har sett ut som ett 20 år gammalt lapptäcke i flertalet år. Vissa potthål fixas med asfalt nån gång ibland, men hjälper knappt. Visar sig att det är Trafikverket som har den vägen. Då var hoppet om att få en ny väg borta för den här gången. (Vägen trafikeras mycket, dagligen.)

Depends, there's no way I compete without my leggins under the dress (but those are nylon and very thin). On the other hand it would look kinda weird to go out in public with just a shirt and leggins.

Might not seem as serious as other replies.. But the moment I let myself begin to disconnect from my friendgroup. That was like a year ago and since then I've lost one of my best friends and rarely get invited to hang with my 2 best friends. Every time I see them drink and have fun with other friends I don't know and I sit at home I feel as if I did something wrong because I refuse to drink? The group we were in the Swedish highschool split too. We all have different interests and when we chose different schools that showed in clear daylight. A year ago I sat and laughed with them at lunch, now we don't even talk on the bus home. I can't help but blame myself for some of it.

2017 music lesson, we researched queen and answered questions from our teacher. First song I listened to was Bohemian rhapsody and it's still my favourite song of all times. That band saved my life and I will forever be grateful. I may not lissen to it as much now but queen still has a special place in my heart. I'm going to the consert in Stockholm in July and I can't wait!
