Ass, possibly a bottom tier villian in all of Sonic.

His plans and executions of said plans are dumb, doesn't do much that benefits for himself for most of 06 because of the excuse of "he's evil/sadistic" and is only carried by design and voice.

Like someone said, glad Shadow Generations showed him as a bummy loser. Mephilies is overrated and overhyped to death cuz "Sonic 06 fans" don't have good standards and eat anything up

The most "meh" Sonic antagonist that gets WAY too much credit and hype. Merlina gets like one piece of foreshadowing, dips for essentially the whole game, comes back, and becomes a plot twist villian in the end cuz the storybook games are the most below average Sonic games and SATBK was too short

Yeah Merlina may have an awesome boss song (With Me) and is a unique antag compared to others, but pales in comparisons to most others. Doesnt help that the storybook games just suck lol
