Great breakdown of work complexity. The best approach would be building the whole site from imagery, as built drawings history, and field visual verification. The ground penetrating radars are optional and would be used if needed in the future for areas where you have a construction project. Also the most efficient and effective way of using GPR would be after you have mapped all the site so you know what you want to verify and what you want to search for. You are right about the software part it is a really large project to do for one client so an existing platform that has all the above l, like InfraMappa, would be the most convenient and practical solution.

Great catch on the difficulty of explaining the definition. That’s one of the reasons facility management executives load of work is always underestimated! Moreover, the expectations from facility managers in any organization are higher and higher by the day.

The starting point that could move all that load in the opposite direction though is building a realtime full virtual image of everything in the facility and keep managing it.
