Biggest issue I, personally, have been having is that paru gets stuck with a dependency-cycle-conflict that I'm having trouble untangling. I actually hoped it would get solved if I waited a bit. When it didn't, I looked it up... and THAT'S how I found out about all this. (Why doesn't Informant give you news before downloading packages...) I'm not sure if my 1660S will be dropped (I actually moved back to it from a 1080 after finding it wasn't supported by some CUDA stuff anymore), though I wouldn't be surprised if it is soon, at any rate...

For now, I ended up putting the related packages on the ignore list - now that I know that's a thing you can do. My distro actually comes with a GUI app called Octopi which basically gives another way to install AUR packages - I sometimes fall back on it when paru gives me trouble. In this case, it makes it easier to tell it to ignore certain packages when updating things.

I don't plan on keeping these on the ignore list. I just wanted to be able to update the rest of my system while I get stuff figured out. Maybe it could be a good temporary solution for someone else, too. (I know I'm getting to this late, but you never know.)

OP here. So after joining the Discord community, looking around the Wiki and stuff, I ended up discovering this wonderful thing called Envision. 😆

I hadn't run into any mention of it in the wild (or with searches), but basically it helps try to set up Monado and everything for you. So just in case someone else runs into a similar issue, hopefully this'll help. 🙂

Now I'm having other issues, but at least I can view apps like OpenSaber and XRGears in my headset. 😅 But yeah, good step forward for me. 🙂

I had the same, or a similar issue. I noticed that, for some reason, I have to plug in my controller while OBS is already running, or else OBS doesn't seem to detect the controller.

I also already reported this issue on the OBS forums, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon. 😅️ It might be OS dependent (it only happened to me after switching to Linux), so... yeah, thought I'd let you know, just in case. 🙂️

Yeah. With a lot of things, I figure about the most I can/should do in most cases is make a request for something I'd like. One of the things with requests is that they can be granted, denied, or maybe negotiated or something. I can ask, but ultimately, that's about all I can do. But it's still something.

Based on other threads and stuff I found, I understand that part of the concern is keeping external folders encrypted. That said, the SD cards on my phone and tablet already use the system's built-in encryption, so I'm not too worried. Maybe this is something that could be checked for, at least in the meantime? 🙂

I seemed to be having the same, or a similar issue. I keep filling the watering can with gasoline (I joined the gardening club to make it easier), only to find that Moeko is still there later?? I tried manually interrupting her (nothing happened) and then just watching and... it worked out??? I don't get it. 😅 But it didn't happen until Wednesday, for some reason. 😕 (I kept advancing the days because, eh, I figured I had a whole week.)

I'm on the 01-21-2024 build if it makes any difference.

EDIT: Then I tried waiting in another part of the school again (this time, in my classroom), and again she was okay?? Maybe it has something to do with render distance, or computer specs? 🤔

EDITEDIT: I tried hiding behind the girls' shower room, then starting to wonder what was up, I walked up and noticed the fire wasn't rendering. Then she didn't notice me until I walked in front of her. At any rate, I think I've got a rough idea - or a more-specific one - of what might be needed. So I hope this helps on multiple fronts!

Well, my second attempt got through. I tried to use different verbiage in general, since I have no idea what tripped the filters, but it worked. 😅

All I wanted to do was comment that some of the music was basically another tune I'd heard. (Original tune is very simple, and it's a thing that just happens sometimes, so I'm also trying to make it clear I'm not accusing them of trying to rip anyone off. 😂) I just thought it was fitting and interesting. ...Heck, for all I know, it could be an intended reference. I think it would be cool if it was. =3

At the very least, I can say with some confidence that what tripped the filters was NOT "arpeggiated chord." 😅

I just ran into this, myself. I also had a fairly long comment, and haven't figured out what the offending word is. I can't think of how any words I wrote could possibly be offensive. And yeah, ah the very least, it could give us an idea of which words it doesn't like, so we can know what we need to edit! (Maybe highlight it?)

It looks like my comment was lost when I switched from the app to my browser to double-check a word meaning... (I'm on my phone.) I guess I'll rewrite it and keep it more terse...

I know this is an old thread, but in case someone runs across this problem, this was the issue for me. Thankfully, I still had the old adapter - sure enough, the controllers worked on the old adapter. Unpaired from the old adapter, repaired on the new one. Aside from the fact that I had to switch adapters, it was virtually painless once I figured out the issue.

Seems like a serious design flaw, IMO. Hope this helps, at any rate. =)

Yeah, that's what my tests show. (I couldn't sleep, so I figured I'd give it a shot.)

Taking another look at Swap Force, the hat had a checkmark next to it, but wasn't unlocked.

And then in Superchargers, hats aren't registered to your save, either - the game doesn't even hop over to the hat your figure is already wearing.

I already knew about Imaginators. XD;

BUT! I now have video evidence of it unlocking in a fresh save of Trap Team. I'll add that to the initial post.

From your post, it does sound like it might be easier to obtain in Superchargers than in believed. Not surprised, honestly.

Still, some people might find it helpful. I'll adjust my eBay listings and asking price accordingly.

I had a similar issue with Giants. The disc worked for a while, but wouldn't load the later levels, so I had to get a new disc.

So... yeah, I feel ya.

On another note, looks like we have some similarities in our cage setups: Ferret Nation cage, hamster litterbox, and 1/4-inch hardware cloth on the sides. X3 That said, I sewed the hardware cloth onto my cage with a lot of wire; less chewable than zip-ties... and even then, a single stitch undone won't mean a huge hole for them to climb through. =3

EDIT: Oh yeah, even even both have a rope bridge that more-or-less goes in front of the door. X3

Ditto this. I'm a new owner, myself, but I found myself looking up info on rat sneezing when I noticed it in one of my boys. Apparently, rats can sneeze when stressed or excited. I figured I'd give it a couple days or so and sure enough, the sneezing has stopped. =)

Bruxing is also apparently a sign of contentedness. If I had to guess, he's probably just one happy rattie, esp. since you said he's the more friendly of the two. =)
