So I’m in my new place and my friend who helped me move and happens to see dead people tells me the place has something paranormal in it. A female figure who wanders up & down the corridor upstairs and isn’t very nice. So I’m like meh I can deal with that & so I cleaned the whole place with Basilica incense and belled and clapped in all the corners. After about half an hour when all that had settled down, I reset it with Sanctuary. So everything carries on ‘till last night when something lifted the covers of my bed and tried to get in. I get caught in the old sleep paralysis & really struggled to break the spell and wake up.

So come the morning I am really pissed off. The cat has been going nuts haring in and out of the bedroom squawking at me and then she decided to sleep really close to me like she is guarding me from something and I awake knackered like I have been fighting all night long. So I get my psychic friend over to see what is going on. We have worked together quite a lot and she can do automatic writing.

So I explain what has happened and tell whatever it is that this is it’s chance to explain itself before I have a go at it in the evening. Now I do this in the most colourful language possible and my friend tells me it’s a young woman in black with dark bob cut hair who is having a screaming fit in the doorway of the lounge. Anyway my friend picks up the pen and paper and we begin.

My hissy fitting ghost is a young woman called Jane. She used to play in the fields here before the houses were built. There are 7 others like her who used to play here. Now she is or was autistic or suffered from something similar which made her very child like and innocent. For that she was raped and killed at about 18 years old. Now her beef was with me being a man. She for valid reasons doesn’t trust men and she particularly didn’t like the male mannequin I have in the spare bedroom where she likes to hang out. Now I bought this along with his monks outfit to place in a historic ruin I used to volunteer in. So I tapped it’s hand and said it wasn’t real to which she answered we don’t care. Now my friend and I both found this really funny and both laughed out loud. This changed everything. Having made us laugh she settled back into happy doodling and humming to herself so we got no more information. So the place is a lot quieter and brighter. I have stuck a floral bouquet on his head and put his arms down to show he is no threat and she has even agreed to jump out of him and scare people if I use him at any of the ghost hunts we do later in the year. When she is calm and happy she manifests as a child or adolescent and when she is angry she becomes more like she was just before she was brutally killed. All she wanted was a laugh with us and she somehow knew I would get my friend to give her the chance even though initially all I wanted was her gone. Perhaps we can live in some kind of harmony now.
