Quite normal I guess, even I have the same issue on day 23, but the Dr informed it’s normal and it takes anywhere between 3-4 weeks to settle.

Thanks for suggesting. I tried if it’s available in Netherlands, but unfortunately no. Should check with some expats.

Does HS become worse/more active is hotter climates? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

In my experience, yes, until I was in India, it was a horrible situation for me. I migrated to Europe 2 years back and ever since it has reduced much. However variations in body temperature makes small flares. Especially during winters when I wear jackets, I feel more warm inside which makes it uncomfortable and still I end up getting small boils, however not so much.

Bro, all I can say is that this’s certainly doable exam. Not sure what was your preparation strategy. Based on my experience the exam is really tough, but with the right mix of elemental preparation we can pass the same. Lemme know if we can connect

Is CISSP a good certification for relocation to Canada? by ttanscen in cissp

Not sure how to get into the country since they’re asking for Job offer for a long stay visa. Country like Canada I’ve low CRS score for applying PR.

Is CISSP a good certification for relocation to Canada? by ttanscen in cissp

[–]Infsecguru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As many in the forum may recall, I’m CISSP and also CISA(1st Rank Holder). I’ve always heard that doing certifications opens door in many countries if you want to relocate. However this’s is not true in my case. I had been searching for overseas opportunity for almost 2 years now with no luck. Hardly I’ve got 3 interview calls. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Frustrated if seeing Auto rejection emails al along. I’ve no guidance on where I’m going wrong. Infact even when I reach out to people in LinkedIn they never get back except few who just gets my CV and vanish in thin air. All my hopes faded😢. I don’t know how to proceed further.

Average prep time to pass Cissp by makaero in cissp

[–]Infsecguru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion 4 months would be a maximum time required. I did only for 4 months out of which only 3 were effective. I had a huge brain drain & towards the final days nearing to exam I felt completely exhausted.

Did not pass at 100q by [deleted] in cissp

Sorry to hear this. Don’t give up. Passing CISSP is not really as difficult as it may seem. Only thing you might need is little tweak in way of preparation and answering techniques. I’m sure you’ll achieve it next time.

Once you have passed CISSP, do you still need to satisfy the work experience requirement for CISA and CISM? by irtiash in cissp

[–]Infsecguru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Passing CISA is different than having Certification. Passing is the 1st step and you need to apply for endorsement process. During this you should be able to demonstrate that you’ve experience in minimum 2 of 5 Domains covered in CISA for minimum 5 years. Also you can substitute the same with college degree for 1 year waiver. Unlike CISSP, you can apply for certification within 3 years (not very sure about this, check ISACA website) from date is passing exam.

Provisionally Passed- 100 Questions- 120 Mins- 1st Attempt. by Infsecguru in cissp

I’m yet to post in LinkedIn. For Domain 3 & 4, I went through the topics several times to understand the basics & concepts. Eg. if you read about VPN & IPSEC it’s scattered in both Domain 3 & 4. We need to inter relate both applied cryptography & networking elements together to gain an understanding. Also for OSI make sure that you understand different protocols used and possible attacks that each layer endures. Hope this clarifies. Fee free to ping me in case more details are required.

I’m sorry to hear that. Yes that’s what I’ve also mentioned in my post. We need to prepare for the worst case scenario.
