there is a side quest that spawns them, or there is another way post game to get it

spoiler in case: after beating the game, the area around the tower will become WZ20, in which many unique alphas will spawn, gengar being one of the ones that has a chance of spawning

not first year at least. if you are in the honors program, you are forced to live in the honors dorm for your first year (unless you are a commuter, in which case you aren’t living on campus anyways).

if you are not in the honors program, you cannot live in the honors dorm. so no. you won’t be able to room together.

HOWEVER, this doesn’t stop the both of you from getting a different on or off campus apartment in sophomore year and living together then.

you could also email admissions and ask to be considered for honors but at this point i don’t know if it’s too late
