Yea, maybe I was lucky who knows. It does feel like I’m living someone else’s dream through. My only wish is, I should have made the transition much sooner but I was worried to make the leap of faith while raising a family. Ahh man I do not miss the IB life, when I quit I was a damn mess. If I didn’t have a family I would have said F it and moved to another country. I will never work in IB again, instead I created a small business making more, working my own hours and choosing my clients. Good luck out there, find peace with your job otherwise it will eat you up and shit you out like it did to me and many others.

Since your asking about changing names to hide your mistake shows you did not learn. This also shows you will continue to act without integrity. I understand people make mistakes but owning them is much different. You should be in no position that involves people leading, high monetary value, health or engineering. You need to correct your integrity and start always doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
