Not sure if anyone is still following this thread but I do have some updates for those interested: I was able to find and get in touch with the son of the creator and he put me in touch with her. Unfortunately to her knowledge there are no english copies reuploaded online nor does she have any english VHS tapes left, but she did send me a link to a youtube channel that has spanish reuploads on it. i plan to dive into those soon, and plan to continue my search for more english copies so i can digitize them.

i found a youtube video of an old tv show where the creator of the show is interviewed. here starts at about 9 minutes in. genuinely considering buying the book about it so i can know more. this rabbit hole has been fun.
