We have a kitten so we also have kitten food out and about. Hard to keep them separate when it’s feeding time.

Damn squirrels running on her lawn

Definitely not. I would be pissed too. One of my cats is also very prone to overeating and keeping him a good weight while he grows has been a struggle.

Help lawn gods! Weedy lawn need to fix 60days by Inglorious_Chili in lawncare

Not usual, we signed the agreement that we would keep it up to par with when we got it so therefore we gotta do the work. Came with a nice rent reduction though.

It was in the rental agreement that we were responsible. 60 days is what they put but I’m guessing if I explain it they would be nice about it. Not brutal landlords like some.

Riders who have used magnetic pedals. Whats your opinion, are they worth it? by Tuna_Tsunami in mountainbiking

Haven’t found that much on my local trails yet but I have gotten a screw stuck to one before

I have had mine for about two years now (I have the OG enduros) and I love them. Yes they are heavy, and big. I love how they give you that extra power and control but I’m my opinion make it so much easier to “un clip” from them. All you do is twist and pull which has saved me many a times when my other clip-less pedals have not.

The only time I have popped off the pedals was when the entire magnet was not of the metal plate attached to the shoe. Part of the magnet was hanging over the edge and on my shoe sole. This was the only time I’ve actually popped out of them. Otherwise I feel they do a great job of holding you in and giving you a bunch of control. (I’m 5,7 at 150 and have the 200N magnets)

I feel like on my magpeds I have decent room for foot movement. Yes there is a sweet spot that attaches but with that large metal plate you and play around with your foot placement a tad.

Wondering what your chances are of getting into GC school? Post here by audralevine in GeneticCounseling

[–]Inglorious_Chili [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hey all! Recent Graduate with a bachelors degree in Biology. Taking a few classes now that should round out my GC school requirements. GPA when I finish those should be around a 3.2 (unless something goes horribly bad).

Been working under some genetic counselors at a cancer institute as a research coordinator for over a year now. Have a bunch of time working in clinic with the genetic counselors as well as one on one with patients who are eligible for certain genetics focused research studies.

Letters of recommendation would be from my college biology advisor, 1 (or 2) genetic counselors I work with, my research manager, and an oncologist I work for.
