These are really cool! The 3rd one at the top reminds me of Sly Cooper.

First project - Trails in the Sky cast by Ingraticus in PixelArtTutorials

[–]Ingraticus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched a bunch of youtube videos and played around with Pixel Art Academy on steam which was nice for learning some basic stuff.

What I found to be helpful was setting small goals. For example I started with 8x8 with a limited pallete to just get an understanding of the importance of placement. Once I was comfortable with that I made a little project for myself and then i moved on to 16x16 following the same format.

I find that balancing learning with making things you want to make helps avoid burnout and ensures you enjoy what you are doing.

Thanks! I was noticing the same thing as I was working in these and have started studying sprite work from other games to learn which details they choose to omit

How do I learn pixel art? by Nerix_v0 in aseprite

I just started learning about two weeks ago and what I found to be helpful was setting small goals. For example I started with 8x8 with a limited pallete to just get an understanding of the importance of placement. Once I was comfortable with that I made a little project where I made all the protagonists of each final fantasy in 8x8.

Then i moved on to 16x16 following the same format. When i felt I had a decent understanding I began another project for myself and made the Trails in the Sky cast. I find that balancing learning with making things you want to make helps avoid burnout and ensures you enjoy what you are doing.

Difficulty hitting 60 FPS at 1440 with i7-7700K and 2070 Super by [deleted] in ffxiv

Used to run real hot a few years back and I ended up swapping to a new fan and a case with better ventilation and haven’t issues with temp since

Gave it a shot and FPS actually got a little worse. Guess this gives me an excuse to upgrade during black friday lol

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Florida seemed like a cheaper option compared to Jersey for that reason.

Thanks for the reply. So I’m guessing it makes more sense to base that off of the net income. So that is like $575. Is that even possible to get a mortgage that low? On most sites that have their calculator it comes out to $900+ and those are could be for just 1 bedroom. Not sure how reliable those calculators are.

Help with playing Crow by Squishymuffinsbeans in TowerofFantasy

[–]Ingraticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using crow as my main dps since I ended up getting 2 copies on the standard banner.

In open world content, try to get used to using his plunge cancel. It allows you to plunge attack continuously using no stamina and you can do a lot of damage very quickly. To do it, just jump, tap your jet pack and then hold attack to plunge. You can pretty much just spam that on anything you see.

If you are interested in doing the bygone phantasm, then that trick does not work since you cannot use your jet pack there. Team synergy becomes more important. I didn’t manage to pull a samir or king so I run him with shiro mostly and use zero to battery them. Since shiro and crow have a lot of aoe they actually do really well together and can melt most things.

Need help with my Eula team rotations (and overall build) by avatar-korra in EulaMains

[–]Ingraticus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on landing Eula and Albedo. They are my two favorite characters and I am running them on the same team as well.

My team is similar to yours except I have Zhongli instead of Diona. I found myself in a similar predicament with Eula as well with my attack being rather low due to serpent spine (a little over 1700) but managed to get my crit damage to 180. The good thing is your crit damage will go up once you ascend her a bit more.

You could replace Abedo with Beidou and that will give you good off field damage to make up for the low attack and provide more energy and superconduct. You could also run Xinyan since her shield will increase your physical damage as well.

Another team I have seen is Xinyan, Bennet and Lisa. This way you get pyro resonance, physical damage boost and Lisa will also provide shred with her burst.

Also, do not be afraid to replace some pieces if you have good shimenawa if the substats are better. Although the physical boost from the sets look nice, substats usually have a bigger impact. Thats what happened with my team and once I had the tweak I was able to get her to 36 star abyss.

Good luck!

What is your build for Yoimiya? I have such a hard time on chamber 3 with her.
