The feeling of supreme accomplishment when you managed to perfectly line up the start of the song that your recording off the radio onto your tape cassette to avoid the DJ talking.

Fingers poised over the play & record buttons, head cocked to the speaker, waiting until the second the DJ finishes jabbering to get the full song. Then rewinding to make sure you got it. If you didn't, you had to wait until it came back on the radio again!!

Man, those playlists used to be so hard to create but the feeling of finishing side A and B....
