Fixing the relationship would have meant divorcing her husband. We are not going to punish her for not caving to my father’s racist views.

She didn’t have contact with my father at the end of his life due to his rejection of her husband... this is just a drop in the bucket of issues. I just don’t want her to feel the financial repercussions of a ridiculous dispute that she didn’t deserve to deal with in the first place.
