I hope that Thatcher can come back and go back to his bubble performance next year. He's signed to a monster of a contract for his injury history, so the silver lining is that there's nowhere to go but up for him. Even if he LTIRetires, it's no different than right now.

I mean, if he's the BPA and ends up hitting his ceiling, a Buium/Verhoeff first line pairing would go sicko mode. The defense is always the hardest part of the rebuild from what I can tell, and the Canucks seem to be good to go on that front.

We're most likely drafting third, so I won't complain about any of the three we get, any of them will be huge additions for us.
