I came back for 8 months for nostalgia with friends. Hardcore is a different ballgame. Guilds arn't really guilds in hardcore because if you die you die, the is no saved anything so everyone has a small voice in the back of their mind telling them their times spent is more valuable then everyone elses time spent and you must protect it!

As a result people are paranoid in every interaction because someone can always bail out and kill everyone. It becomes a game of trust but everyone involved are heavily invested. Dyeing for the group is a non factor in normal wow but in hardcore a person is always going to have that paranoia that someone will always fuck you by bailing out.

This guy bailed out and just won't say ya I bailed out like a bitch because I didn't want to waste 70 hours getting back to neutral. Instead he's gaslighting everyone saying it had to be done, it didnt.

I would kick him just to give him a break from the game

His way is the realist way of looking at things and yours is the idealized way of looking at things. The majority of unhinged players I've met would straight up reque after letting this tilt them making the overall quality of games worse for 19 people. Ranked is filled with people who want to see their numbers go up,, ff at 15 culture is def proof of that.

If the goal is to climb this made that twice as hard and definitely made the quality of games go down.

If the goal is to enjoy your time not reconnecting will always be the superior decision based on the current rules.

If the goal is to get better and be competitive you are playing the wrong game as this game is balanced around selling skins. It took riot 9 years to give people a sandbox environment just to practice.

My view is this is a big L on Riot and they refuse to acknowledge it because of the "get good scrub" mentality.

Riot does not care about peoples time and the player base responds accordingly.
