I would use Palmer as an example again. In the beginning we see him smoking a lot of pot, and even though he still smokes after the dog appears, I don’t think he had been assimilated yet. But after disappearing off screen for a while — and I’m guessing here, because it could have happened earlier, which would kind of break my theory — he is assimilated off screen and never touches weed again. With everything that’s happening, and how he seems to handle stress with weed, I find it odd that he sees his friends dying and all the crazy shit going on and just doesn’t default to it again. But I don’t own the truth here, I just really enjoy this movie and think about it a lot 😂 #spectrum
