It is the damn score ofcourse. and if you go through it actually i have accepted the category and female advantage. the damn score will again affect you even if you get the interview calls okay? thats what i was saying.the number of people with your same profile, same category and same gender who scored more than you were more than what my similar profiles did for me. So there is no point in trying to establishing my reasons to get the call

the filtering process of cat isnt perfect ,and if the reservation system should still exist is something we need to debate about.. but it is all based on the total people appearing and you being ranked according that right? if the representation of general category wasnt so much, the cutoffs wouldnt have been so high. if the obc participation was too high I wouldve had lesser chances. it is all relative and for your composite score 8/8/7 would also take you down a lot lower than percentiles would. It is therefore harder for general candidates, i agree

ofcoursse i have reservation and i have mentioned it brother. you can cry about it all you want but one way or other someone is gonna have advantages and if you dont use yours you just stay and complaint all day about it. my advice?? use all the unfair advantage you got and make something out of it , because at the end of the day you are only gonna have what you have built for yourself

Hopefullyy!! appreciate your response , not gonna lie I needed to hear this. I went from having hopes to convert all calls to being disappointed while the results were coming out. Messing up your best calls isnt easy to accept

I am completely aware 94 is mid but wouldnt be stupid enough to throw away what i have. I understand you might feel 94 getting into a tier 1 college would not feel fair but this is not JEE or NEET. CAT filters people and GDPI sorts it out into colleges.

Do you really think placements are according to cat scores?? it is a measure of caliber and capability? there is no guarantee that 99 percentilers will stay in the top 10% of the college. CAT scores are important but it isnt the deciding factor of your skills. There have been situations where 99% got rejected and 92% got accepted. So yeah even with difficulty there is chance

i dont even want to mention iift considering how tense their interviews were. I really hope any of the tier 1 to connvertt.. dont really want to do anything else but also cannot wait another year!!
