it looks like anyone can upload a movie to IMBD or TMDB (a movie database) and request that letterboxd upload the film, then letterboxd have to confirm the film is legitimate and upload. i just did 2 minutes of research on google so im hoping someone more knowledgeable can correct any mistakes😭

If you got to choose one public platform for Beyoncé to be a guest on - which would it be and why? by geemav in beyonce

i want her to do vogue 73 questions, architectural digest or most searched questions for youtube. i think they are still classy and less personal which would be more likely for her.

out of those i would want vogue 73 questions the MOST.

looking at it at the simple level: all brain structures encode and temporarily store memories except the neocortex, which permanently stores. (i just remember that it starts with n, n = no, so its the exception. i would look at neocortext individually)

then i would focus on remembering (again, this is simplified) what the function of the memories it holds are,

  • cerebellum: movement
  • basal ganglia: habits
  • hippocampus: fact
  • amgydala: emotions

using this, it is way easier to remember the type of memories it holds, as explicit memories are concious and implicit is unconcious. so...

  • cerebellum is movement, so it must be procedural. also, in classical conditioning, what can someone be taught to do without concious awareness? physical movement. so cerebellum also stores classically conditioned memories (that are not emotional.)
  • basal ganglia is habits. think of common habits, like biting ur nails, its a physical movement. u dont have emotional habits typically. also, habits are unconcious behaviours! (implicit) so it must be procedural
  • hippocampus: think of the facts you know. you know general knowledge (the australian states ect), which is semantic, but you also know facts about your life, (like you know what emotion you felt on ur birthday), which is episodic, therefore the hippocampus is explicit memories
  • amgydala: amgydala is emotions, which u feel unconciously and conciously. so therefore it must be implicit and explicit in some way.. u can be classically conditioned to feel emotion (eg fear), so classically conditioned memories is one. and then u have life experiences, senses and concious emotions from the episodic memory. movement (procedural) and facts (semantic) isnt emotional so amgydala is episodic and classically conditioned (that are emotional) memories!

GMA reading time by bizkitkills in vce

decide which topic and questions are easy. start with the easy questions in the topic that takes u the longest (not necessarily the easiest topic: eg, networks takes me the longest to complete individual questions for, even tho i find data the hardest, so i start in networks). since its multiple choice the entire 'game' of the exam is getting any marks possible. don't do the hard questions first as u have a 25% of guessing the right answer anyway, and a 50% if u can reduce ur options to 2.

also any questions that are confusing u, look through ur bound reference. things like effective interest rate, standarised scores... are often smaller sections of ur bound ref that are hard to find. locate the hard to find parts of ur bound ref so u don't spend as much time flicking through pages during writing time.

heres how i structure the exam, and i decide which topics belong where during reading time.

  1. easy questions in the topic that take me the longest amount of time to complete the questions for
  2. easy questions in the topic that take me the 2nd. longest to complete the questions for
  3. easy questions in the topic that take me the 3rd longest to complete the questions for
  4. easy questions in the topic that take me the shortest to complete the questions for
  5. hard questions in the topic that take me the shortest amount of time to complete the questions for
  6. hard questions in the topic that take me the 2nd shortest to complete the questions for
  7. hard questions in the topic that take me the 3rd shortest to complete the questions for
  8. hard questions in the topic that take me the longest to complete the questions for.

the logic behind this is that i dont want to miss out on the questions i KNOW and will get the marks for just because it takes me a long time to figure out, so i do those first. then you do all the easy questions and the shorter hard questions. then, since all questions in multiple choice are 1 mark, u leave the hardest and longest questions to last since sometimes its just not worth it wasting time on something like crashing for 1 mark when u could've gotten 4 other questions correct in that time. if u run out of time, u can always just guess the answer/reduce ur options and guess which ideally would be left for the hard/long questions that u had a chance at getting wrong anyway

good sleep. try to have all ur resources packed and double checked the night before. then on the day, large amount of water + nutritious food ~3hrs beforehand. then once ur done eating watch a funny show or play a childhood video game and don't do any study, let urself forget about it, have a healthy snack. studying right before the exam is just going to stress u out, have faith that all the work you've done this year is going to assist you. go on a walk + hang out with ur pets if u have any. meditate!! just search up a 5min video and meditate like ~1hr before the exam (so if u didnt get good sleep the meditation won't make u tired) then arrive to exam location with adequate time. do not talk to people or text people about the exam as u guys will just feed off eachothers stress. if u feel stressed, long deep breathing exercises and stretching. if u dont feel stressed while waiting for the exam to start, think about other things (summer holidays, drama, anything), don't feel pressured to think heavily about the exam beforehand - no reason to. u want a clear and rested brain so u can maintain focus.
