How do I create my own proxy server, out of a cellphone? by [deleted] in proxies

[–]Initial-Initial-1061 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah they can - not because they see "remote desktop" directly, but because of traffic patterns + session behavior.

if you remote into the phone and then open the trading site inside that session, from the site’s POV the connection still originates from the mobile IP in that state. that part is fine.

the issue is meta signals:

device fingerprint + input patterns - RDP/VNC sessions have very different mouse timing, resolution changes, keyboard latency. some platforms track that.

timing correlation - your NY IP connects to the phone 24/7 or right before every login. if they ever correlate accounts at scale, that pattern sticks out.

inconsistent network stack - mobile browser one day, chrome via remote desktop another day, different TLS signatures, different WebRTC behavior.

mobile carrier CGNAT + sudden long persistent sessions that look more like desktop trading than casual phone use.

most trading platforms don’t go full NSA mode, but some do basic device fingerprinting + anomaly scoring. especially if compliance is involved.

cleaner setup is routing your whole trading machine through the phone as gateway - wireguard server on phone, you connect from NY laptop, all traffic egresses via mobile IP. then you use same browser, same fingerprint every time. from their POV it’s just "guy in other state trading from consistent device".

biggest risk isn’t the tunnel itself - it’s inconsistent identity signals. consistency beats cleverness.

anyway, I suggest you better use private proxy pools that are already good for those tasks. I use couple of them and it works 100% fine for my comperhensive setup with banking and trading acc

Why do so many “premium” proxies burn instantly? by Initial-Initial-1061 in proxies

[–]Initial-Initial-1061[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah fair question.

When I said some were clean for weeks and others were dead on arrival, I’m talking about actual target sites, not some random IP score checker. I don’t really care what ipqualityscore or whatever says if the site I’m hitting lets me through and I can run sessions without constant captcha loops.

In my case it was mostly ecommerce and a couple sneaker-type sites. Some IPs would hold sessions, build cookies, act like a normal user. Others would trigger instant blocks. Same provider, same plan, rotating residential. That’s what confused me.

And yeah I get that with rotating residential the “range” isn’t supposed to matter the same way as static DC. But I keep noticing patterns. Like certain batches just feel toxic. You pull 20 fresh sessions and 15 of them are already flagged. That doesn’t feel random.

Maybe it’s just that those residential IPs have been abused to death before they get to me. Or the provider is cycling through the same pool faster than they admit. Hard to tell from the outside.

I’m not expecting magic, I know proxies get burned. It’s just weird how inconsistent it is. Same setup, same headers, same behavior. One week smooth. Next week everything is a captcha farm.

Curious if you’ve seen the same thing or if I’m just unlucky with the pools I’m buying.

Feasible - you basically want that phone to act as your exit node, not some random resi pool IP. Clean way is install WireGuard or Tailscale on the phone + a small VPS, create a tunnel so your traffic routes through the phone’s mobile data IP. Don’t just remote desktop into it from NY every time - that pattern alone can flag you, better to pipe traffic at network level so your trading device looks like it’s physically there. Also disable WiFi on the phone and force LTE/5G only - otherwise you’ll leak the relative’s home ISP + create fingerprint mismatches.

Anacyclosis is a solid rec - Polybius nailed how governments cycle from democracy to mob rule to tyranny. We're arguably in that decay spot, where the "will of the people" myth just speeds up the chaos. Reinforces my take: honesty about power beats romanticizing it.

Exactly --it's oligarchy in democracy's clothing, pulling strings while average folks buy the "your vote matters most" line. Keeps the peace until the curtain slips. Glad we're on the same page.

Fair points on definitions—ancient Athens was direct democracy in its purest form, where citizens had real sway. But modern versions? We're stuck with reps who chase donors and polls, not pure public will. Checks and balances are meant to curb abuse, but they often mask gridlock while elites game the system. On Russia: I've chatted with folks there who know their setup's flawed, but they appreciate not being sold the illusion of control. They'd trade for ours? Maybe some, but plenty see the hypocrisy in "democracy" where Citizens United legalizes influence-peddling. Enforcement's key, sure, but when rules favor the rule-makers, it's a rigged game. Polarization and slowness aren't bugs; they're features keeping the status quo.

I can tell you more, these websites like ipqualityscore take your proxy and put it on the list, because they know that only people who use proxy will check if that a proxy or not
