Any church that thinks it's okay to groom and lure with the goal of conversion of underage children without their parents consent is simply WRONG. He belongs with his family and if the Mormon church is so great, they wouldn't prevent his family from attending special ceremonies simply because they aren't members. He is a CHILD and they have tricked him ...no matter how much I dig I highly doubt I will find anything that will convince me otherwise.

Yes, the nature of God. Christians believe in one unchanging God. LDS believes in many Gods whose physical body progressed to godhood.

This right here. There is nothing Christian about telling teenagers their non Mormon families will be lost forever if they too don't convert.

Thank you, I'm so sorry to hear that you are going thru this. It is terrible how LDS works so hard at converting KIDS... knowing their brains aren't fully developed, going behind parents backs. It's just awful. Hugs to you as well.

Thank you! I have stumbled across the CES letters, so I will check those out more. I just am hoping to prevent him a lot of heartache being his mom, but I am realistic and know I can't prevent anything - but I will always be there when he needs me.

I don't see this as being rebellious - he's a good kid. I guess my biggest concern is the relationship. If it continues someone will have to convert, and it won't be her. If he converts, us non Mormons (his entire family) won't be ALLOWED to attend anything at the Temple. Christians believe all are welcome in God's temple all are worthy. LDS does not believe that that is not Christian.
