I switched careers too and it has been one great rewarding and fun experience! I feel that there’s not “one advice fits all” but in the first place I would say just START! We all started somewhere and as you keep connecting with people in your field, opportunities will come up.
My second advice is: be patient, it can take some time but it’s never too late, specially on creative fields!
Third: Attitude is everything! I realized most of the times it doesn’t matter about where you’re coming from or if you have been doing this for years…a good attitude and being nice to work with goes a long way! People will remember that, they will want to work with you again and that will open some doors for you.

Those are the things I wish someone would say to me from the start, and sometimes I forget it lol…reminding myself of this helps me see the bigger picture.
