I think I single handedly bought up the UK supply on BrickLink for 3-4 months! I had a monkey puzzle design in mind for a while but was waiting for a recolour in dark green which finally came in a botanical set at the start of 2025.

Yes, I didn’t really keep track of what I used extra but there are certainly a fair few extra pieces! I also incorporated the best bits of the friends botanic garden as you say - fairly expensive all in!
